Pippy the Kid

The most unabashedly fruit-forward shou I think I've ever had. Juicy with a clean and floral finish. Got a free coin in an order and brewed half of it gong fu style in an 80ml clay pot. Will almost certainly come back for more. What a joy.

Starts with the flavor of a rich milk chocolate bar, then flavors of pine and stony minerality grow with each steep.

I got a coin included in my order as a free sample it was an enjoyable tea but far more forward than I typically enjoy my shu. I assume this was due to a higher bud content as it quickly faded to a mineral sweetness my actual rating for it is 4.5 based purely on my personal preference. Others may also have a different experience than me if they brew this tea as a western style or cold brew as I brewed this tea using gongfu methodology. Still a very pleasant tea.
