The Madagascar vanilla beans are a perfect compliment to the chocolate notes in the Yong De shu. The vanilla is more subtle in Easy Listening than in the recent Vanilla Bean Dream Machine pressings.

Diabolical Genius Press is putting out a book of poems, 'Easy Listening' by Tim Krcmarik. The original plan was to release the Easy Listening shu and the book at the same time but we're almost out of VBDM and the book is a couple of weeks behind schedual. So here's the shu. The book will arrive shortly.

What a treat! This is a multifaceted sensation best enjoyed involving a lidded vessel to cup the heavenly scent of this tea that collects in its vapours, as well as sufficient time to indulge in its flavours. The vanilla plays a strange game with the shu, as it comes out in stronger force with unexpexted brews (I think it was the third and the seventh for me; your mileage may vary). I took someone unfamiliar with shu on this journey with me, and it was such a wild and delightful trip I think I’ve converted them. Happy drinking to all who taste this!
