Oolong-O-Rama

Regular price $54.00 $0.00
Oolong-o-rama = 7 great oolong teas.

1) I've Got Your Funny Space Name Right Here Medium Roast Ben Shan Anxi Oolong, 50g. Tasting of roasted almonds, forest and milk. 50g

2) "Zi Hong Pao" is a purple varietal that's a naturally mutated offshoot from the classic Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) varietal. It's also called Jiu Long Pao (9 Dragon Robe) The leaves of purple tea bushes have a purple/red/green color. 20g

If you are a fan of Big Red Robe, I'd highly recommend this purple leaf version of that tea. And I also recommend brewing this gong fu style. You can brew this style with just a brew basket and cup. Use more leaf and shorter steeps. Start with a 10 second infusion. The second through the fifth infusions are really full and exciting to drink. The 6th through 8th infusions are still quite strong and pungent but need longer steep times.

3) This blend of several Dan Cong varietals is made from Huang Pian (yellow leaves). Huang Pian are older more yellow leaves and are sweeter and more mellow than their younger counter parts. (The same is true of our Huang Pian Puerh.) The taste is lightly mineral, sweet and Dan Congy. 20g

4) Osmanthus is a flower often used by itself or blended with tea. There is no Osmanthus in this Dan Cong, but it creamy peaches and plum fragrance will make you think it is. And that's the better trick.
20g

5) The large leaves of this lightly oxidized Zhang Ping Shui Xian oolong have been pressed into 8-10g cakes. The sweetness come through during multiple infusions. This flavor is floral and creamy with hints of coconut milk. 7g

6) High quality Tie Guan Yin. Aromatic and floral. price is for one 7g pouch

7) Floral and fruity. Use short steeps. Comes in 7g pouches. Price is for one 7g pouch.
